Our Mission

                              To promote and encourage collecting, cutting and polishing of gemstones

To promote and encourage the collection of mineral specimens, fossils and related geological materials

                              To promote and encourage the lapidary arts and other related crafts

To promote the exploration of British Columbia for precious and semi-precious gemstones, mineral specimens , fossils and related          geological materials

To promote and encourage fraternization within the Club and its members, with other clubs of similar interest, and with other in interested parties

To promote and publicize the work of the Club members by cooperating with local museums, and tourist bureaus and similar associations

To  publicize the work and activities of the Club and its members through the use of the communications media, and any other means available and practicable  

                               To extend the interest and aid of the Club to all those interested in the hobby

This Club shall be a non-profit educational organization and no member will be paid for any service rendered to or for the Club, except that he/she shall be reimbursed for expenses actually incurred for the Club upon approval of the Executive or a vote taken at a regular meeting
